Isabel's Children

Isabel’s Children is a money fund that goes directly to help support survivors of violence and food insecurity in Indigenous communities.

In the memory and honor of Mandy’s chuchu (grandmother) Isabel. An Indigenous woman who despite a life filled with abuse, trauma, neglect, starvation and injustice, still did everything she could to help anyone who came to her. From helping someone heal to offering them a meal or giving them a safe place to sleep in her home.

Her generosity and kindness gave her the nickname Mami.
She was a mother to anyone who had the privilege of knowing her, making us all her children. Her family and strangers. So her mission and Spirit continues through Isabel’s Children.

So where is the money coming from? The fund is 100% sponsored by the SLG School. Each enrollment to the online school directly contributes to Isabel’s Children.
